Windsor lawyer J.P. KaramDual JD ’12 took advantage
of “the great people” at the law school’s career services office,
both as a student and as an alum. “While in law school,
Iworked very closelywithAnnaMariawithmy resumé and
applications to lawfirms inToronto. Annawas instrumental
inme landing a job at a topfirm inToronto.
WhenKaram elected to return toWindsor in 2015, “one
of myfirst phone calls Imadewas toAnna. I neededhelp
landing a job at aWindsor lawfirm, and I knew she had the
right connections and knowledge todeterminewhowas hiring,
andwhen.”
She helpedhim securemultiple interviews and also
helpedKaram’swife, a lawyer but not a graduate of the
university, to land a job inWindsor. “Needless to say, we owe
a lot toAnna.”
Themore resources that the university canoffer the better,
saysBusch. “Theworkplace is dynamic and ever-changing.
If we canprovide the helpour students and alumni require to
make themost of that, whether throughour office or academic
programs, that’swhatwewant todo.”
