The American Museum of Natural History
In
September 2012, Roberto made a week-long trip to the American Museum in
New York City to measure wren skins, with support from an AMNH
Grant-in-aid-of research. The data he gathered will be an important
part of his dissertation.

Congress
Many
members of the Mennill Lab attended the North American Ornithological
Congress in Vancouver in August 2012. From left to right: Roberto

Baldo, who very recently completed her MSc in the Mennill and Love
Labs, presented a talk on her research on acoustic communication in
Snow Buntings. Sarah received an award for the best student
presentation for her talk. We are so proud of Sarah, to have won
such a prestigious prize at this major, international meeting.
