Ornithology Bird List
During this course you will learn to recognize birds by both sight and sound. During three identification quizzes, you are expected to be able to identify the full common name of any bird on the list below based on seeing a picture of the bird. If a sound file is shown below, you are also expected to be able to identify the bird by sound (either by hearing the sound alone, or seeing a picture and hearing the sound simultaneously).  There are three lists below. You must know the first 31 species for quiz #1. You must know all of the the first 67 species of quiz #2. You must know all 106 of the birds on this page for quiz #3.
