Students from the School of Music shared their passion for music, with performances before their counterparts in several local high schools.

The music students travelled to General Amherst, St. Anne's high school, Holy Names, Walkerville and Catholic Central. Organizer Trevor Pittman, operations manager for the School of Music, called the visits a win-win.

Each visit included about 40 minutes of performance, followed by 20 minutes of discussion to answer audience questions that range from “How much do you practise?” to “What do you plan to do when you graduate?” to “What are your favourite drumming techniques?”

About 20 UWindsor students participated, including solo instrumentalists and the University Women’s Chamber Choir.
