In fall 2007, the University of Windsor took the first step in telling its story to an ever-larger, ever-changing audience. It launched its new brand.

“New” is a misnomer, however, because our brand is what extensive research, our history – and perhaps more importantly – our instincts told us was our essential purpose – our DNA.

We are focused on taking responsibility for delivering change in the community and the world, as well as to the notion that students can be a part of this change from the moment they join the UWindsor community.

“Thinking Forward” is our new tagline – but our brand is about more than that or a fresh logo. It is a reflection of who we are and what we bring to the community and our students, both now and in the future.

It is about being influential – having a lasting impact in countless ways.

This annual report is an opportunity to share highlights that underscore our mission and our unique attributes with people who may not know the full story.
