2018 Ornithology Class Trip

On Saturday September 29, University of Windsor's third-year Ornithology Class took a field trip to the Holiday Beach Migration Observatory. We counted hawks passing by the HBMO Hawk tower, we captured and banded songbirds, we captured and banded hawks, and we explored the biodiversity of migratory birds moving through the Holiday Beach Conservation Area. All photographs of our expedition this page were taken by Dan Mennill and Ornithology students Kevin Oun, Dianne Rejolio, and Alex Desmarais. We extend our special thanks to the volunteers of the HBMO for sharing their knowledge with us.
