A cocktail reception hosted by the Alumni
Association and the Faculty of Engineering
welcomed the Engineering class of ’61
& ’71. The group took part in tours of the
Centre for Engineering Innovation
and attended the Iron ring ceremony.

Members of the 1975 Lancer Football
Team joined together to celebrate the
35th Anniversary of their Yates Cup
Championship in October, 2011. The team
was recognized at halftime of the Lancer
Football game that weekend and presented
with the Team Achievement Award at the
Sports Hall of Fame ceremony.

Twenty-two classmates participated in the activities from September 30 through October
2, 2011, which included a tour of the new Centre for Engineering Innovation, a dinner and
brunch. The group included engineers who have worked in South America, Chile, the U.S.
and Canada.

The HK 25th Anniversary Reception held at the Dominion House on September 30 and
October 1, 2011 was well attended by the Class of 1986. Graduates, current faculty and
staff and their families thoroughly enjoyed the stories of undergraduate experiences. A
special thank you is extended to Dr. Jim Potvin, who served on the HK Alumni Weekend
Committee as the liaison to the Class of 1986.
