The Alumni Association’s Annual General
Meeting featured the presentation of the
Odyssey Award to seven outstanding recipients.
The association recognized the following
individuals who are in the early stages of their
career paths and who have distinguished
themselves through success in their
professional or personal life:
Jim Annan

This bilingual alumnus has a great
talent for sketch, improv and all
things comedy and has become
a familiar face in both film and
television. Following graduation,
Annan moved to Toronto where
he delved into the comedy scene
at The Second City. His work has
been nominated for Dora Awards, the Canadian equivalent
to the Tony, and the Canadian Comedy Awards for Best
Sketch Troupe and Best Improv Troupe. Bruce Pirrie of
Strange Street Productions states that there is no question

performers working in Canada today. Annan is now
launching his newest comedy duo, Unofficial Mascot, with
his writing partner Scott Montgomery.
