Today, conventional business transactions have evolved to encompass e-commerce transactions; put simply, doing business using the internet. As of 2003, the world Internet economy is approx. U.S. $2.3 trillion. What does this mean for conventional business models, including regulation? This course will examine current legal issues raised by the proliferation of e-commerce. In particular, students will focus on practical issues which will include, but are not limited to:

• Corporate Structuring Issues
• On-Line contracting
• Licensing Agreements
• Intellectual Property Issues
• Initial Public Offerings
• Regulatory Issues
• Privacy Issues
