Recreational Events that were hosted in the past are laser tag, bowling, drop in basketball and the annual Raptors vs. Pistons trip in Detroit. Recreational events were implemented to give students a break from their studies, to meet people in the community and allowed students who did not like to party something to do. These events are held monthly and some events do include a transportation fee.

The two biggest CAOS recreational event that was held last year( 2008) was the Raptors vs. Pistons trip in Detroit, which allowed students and professors watch a live NBA game and also watch the players warm up court side. The second event was the 2008 Dream Team Sportsweekend 5 on 5 Basketball Tournament where the winners of the tournament received $100.00. This event had an amazing turn out of male basketball players from the Toronto, Hamilton, London and Windsor communities. This event was organized by Fabia with the assistance of Fuji and Michael S. CAOS is hoping to keep the hype going for the 2009 Basketball Tournament but at the same time improving and providing additional recreational events to the community.
