411 discussion is a place for students to discuss current events that are occurring around the world. The discussion group is held every other Thursday around 7pm and anybody is welcomed to stop by and state their opinions about the topic or just listen in. Usually 411 discussions are held in small rooms to make it a more comfortable environment and less like a lecture. However, this past February former CAOS members, Aisha and Adrianne decided to host a successful discussion panel on hip-hop, which had rappers, urban magazine writers and Djs. The objective of this discussion was to allow the students to interact with the panel. Other topics that were discussed during the 2007-2008 year were Jena 6, and how to make a smooth transition into University. We cannot wait until the 2008-2009 411 discussion year.

**Topics will be posted ahead of time, this way allowing students to prepare or research about the topic if needed
