The Internet and the Law: A Global Conversation

Symposium Agenda from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law

Getting to Ottawa from Windsor (and back again):

Procuring transportation to and from Ottawa will be the responsibility of each participant. Travel Cuts in the CAW Centre sells VIA rail tickets and ISIC cards.

WIPIT will reimburse the cost of ISIC economy-class ground transportation but you must keep and produce your receipt. No receipt, no reimbursement, no exceptions. Reimbursement will be made about one week after we return to Windsor.

The conference starts at 8:30am on Fri.Oct.1 so it is recommended that participants depart Windsor on Thurs. Oct.2. See VIA Rail for more details about departure and arrival times.

The conference ends at 5:00pm on Sat. Oct.2. The last train to TORONTO is 5:55pm. Participants can either overnight in Toronto or take a bus from Toronto to Windsor. WIPIT will reimburse the cost of travel from Ottawa to Windsor, but will not reimburse the cost of overnight accommodation on Oct.2

It is highly recommended that participants get an International Student Identity Card (ISIC). Participants will only be reimbursed for travel to the cost of the ISIC fare ($207.58 return).

Once you have purchased your ticket, please email Telly Lebedev to confirm you will be attending the conference.
