Biotech Conference, University of Toronto Faculty of Law
On Friday, February 6, 2004
the Technology and Intellectual Property Group will be holdings its annual student-run
conference at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. The fifth annual TIP Conference
is entitled, "Dual Controversies of the Double Helix: Challenges of Regulating
the Information and Property Aspects of Genetic Technology", and will be
a daylong forum for lawyers, government, industry and academics to discuss legal,
social and ethical problems posed by genetic information.
The conference will include both keynote lectures and panel discussions. The highlight of this year's conference will be keynote lectures presented by: Professor George

Caulfield Professor Rebecca
