PROGRAM AND ADMISSIONS GUIDE
2014/2015
Social work engages with individuals, families, communities and societies to improve the quality of life. It is a growing and
challenging profession with many opportunities for personal and professional development.
The mission of the School of Social Work is to promote social justice through quality, professional education, advocacy,
community partnerships and the development and dissemination of knowledge.
The School will relocate to the University’s new, downtown campus in 2015. This will provide a close connection with its
community partners as well as provide its students with the dynamic study and collaborative learning space they require.
