The Odette Experience combines classroom
teaching, faculty interaction and hands-on learning
through case studies, group projects, community
engagement and extra-curricular opportunities.
Our faculty and staff are dedicated to the importance
of learning outcomes in the classroom and learning
experiences outside the classroom to provide you
with the confidence—and resumé—you need in a
competitive global marketplace.
The business program starts immediately with
structured study in all areas of business, and the
opportunity to earn a concentration in one of six
specialized areas.
Our faculty and curriculum are strongly connected
to industry.
We offer all courses necessary for
accounting, finance and HR designations.
The Commerce Society is noted for numerous award-
winning clubs and competitive teams—including
the only Canadian Debate Team that is eligible to
compete on the American Parliamentary Debating
Association circuit including schools such as
Harvard, MIT, Stanford and Notre Dame.
At Odette, Year 1 outreach and support is a priority.
We also dedicate significant resources to targeted
career planning and support with strong ties to
industry and alumni resources.
In addition to Entrance Awards, the Odette School of
Business is home to more than 50 scholarships and
bursaries dedicated to business students over their
four years of study.
