INAUGURAL ISSUE
IN THIS ISSUE
Welcome to the inaugural issue of the
Odette Research Review! This newsletter is
intended to provide the Odette School of
Business stakeholders with a summary of
research achievements by our faculty, to
highlight on-going projects and to identify
emerging themes.
The Odette School of Business welcomes
feedback and participation by our
stakeholders in our research. If you would
like more information about any project
highlighted in this newsletter, please contact
the faculty member directly. For updates on
our activities please refer to the Odette
Research Review Blog on the Odette School
of Business web site.
50 Years of Research @ Odette
This year marks the 50
th
Anniversary of the
University of Windsor and the Odette School
of Business (originally the Faculty of Business
Administration) has been an integral part of
that history. To commemorate the event we
highlight the 50 most cited articles and books
produced over the last fifty years by Odette
faculty (measured by citations per year from
Google Scholar).
Citations are a common metric to gauge the
impact of research and the Odette School of
Business is committed to producing research
with academic, social and economic impact.
Many Odette faculty members make
multiple appearances among these highly
cited articles and we wish to recognize their
achievement in particular. This list includes
some faculty members who have retired but
a significant number are current faculty
members who continue to contribute to the
growing record of research achievement at
Odette.
