Three-Day Ontario Universities Fair
in Toronto
The new strategic plan for the University of Windsor emphasizes
a learner-centred environment, campus pride and a high quality of
service to students but the University is already exhibiting these in
many ways. Dr. Ross Paul was particularly impressed in
touring all of the exhibits and stations at this year's Ontario
Universities' Fair in Toronto to note that Windsor had the
greatest per capita collection of faculty and staff to respond to
student and parental inquiries and proud to be part of the
university.
It seemed there was always someone there to answer quite
specific questions about academic programmes and regulations
and I heard many compliments about Windsor both from
prospective students and their parents alike who were delighted
with the opportunity to speak directly to a faculty member about his
or her programme area. A huge "thank you" is owed to everyone
who was involved.
A contingent of 57 members from the University of Windsor, including, Deans, Associate Deans, Faculty, Staff not only helped recruit students to Windsor, but also helped a lot of young people clarify their plans for the future.
