Going into space is a dream of children and adults alike; it intrigues and wonders people of all ages as well as captivates their imagination. In fact, since the dawn of man, the masses have been curious of what lies beyond our planet. Spatial phenomena have been the timers and the basis of religions for countless civilizations. However, it is only with the technological developments of the last 60 or so years that we have actually been able to obtain access to this frontier. Although we are quite some time away from hearing phrases like "Buy a ticket to space! Only $20!!!"; technological advances are making this a possibility for the future.
Space Ship One Despite the fact that space is presently reserved for those involved with various space agencies or those able to pay their 20 million dollars for the opportunity; only by exploring space might we be able to gain insight into the nature of the universe. With scientific advances, innovation and increasing involvement from private industry, reaching outside this planet's atmosphere is becoming less costly and more available.
