This section focuses on the current technology and current process that are going on in today's time. From the building of the International Space Station, which is still an undergoing process today in 2006, to the redesigning of space crafts by NASA, technology is always improving. New companies, like Virgin Galactic are emerging and are slowly showing the world that they too are capable of space travel. Events such as the x-prize are also encouraging such private companies to explore this concept of civilian space exploration.
