In fall 2007, the University of Windsor took the first step in telling its story to an ever-larger, ever-changing audience. It opened a nation-wide campaign to promote its unique strengths and its privileged place in Canada.

Our campaign reflects what extensive research, our own history and – perhaps more importantly – our own instincts told us is our essential purpose.

We are focused on taking responsibility for delivering change in the community and in the world, as well as on the notion that students are at the centre of this change from the moment they join the UWindsor community.

Thinking Forward is our new tagline, though our identity and reputation reflect far more than the words or the freshness of a modernistic, welcoming logo.

We are promoting who we are and what we bring to the community and to our students, both now and in the future. We are talking about being influential, having a lasting impact in countless ways.

This annual report is an opportunity to share highlights that underscore our mission and our special attributes with people who may not know the whole story.
