Teacher Process
Print a copy of the questions and rubric for each student. It should be worked on after the completion of the WebQuest either in class or as a homework activity.
The WebQuest has been designed to be completed by the students either individually or in teams. While students should be able to complete the WebQuest without need of teacher assistance, each student has individual needs and abilities and may require some additional guidance.
It may be possible to complete the WebQuest within a single period, however students will require computers and depending on how much time students will have access to computers it may be beneficial to split the WebQuest between two classes.
The applets are fairly simple to understand. A note on the Radiation and Matter applet: many students do not realize they must move the switch on the "gun" to begin the applet.
