So what does it all mean?

1. Einstein determined the displacement of a suspended body in a liquid, assuming that the liquid was composed of atoms.
2. The predicted displacement agreed with Brownian motion experiments performed by Jean Perrin in 1908.

These two facts provided the first evidence for the existence of atoms!!!

GUESS WHAT.......THE ATOMISTS WERE RIGHT!!!
