Is Fraudulent Research Generally Self-Serving? |
|
In this session I will be asking you to: (1)
reflect upon the possible causes of fraudulent research, (2) suggest some
possible causes of samples I will share in class, (3) discuss within a small
group setting a few samples that will be provided in class, and (4) present
a summary of your group discussions to the class. I hope all of us will
start a collection (perhaps a diary or notebook) of critical tools,
thoughts, strategies, ideas, beliefs, suspicions, and so on, that will help
us be more informed consumers of the research and opinions we encounter. |
