Fuzzy? |
|
My intent in this session is to expose you to
the serendipitous in research. Many interesting advances in the various
fields of knowledge have come by way of accident. Fumbling and stumbling
researchers, and what they found, and why they found it. Yet, there is a
need for rigor and I will ask you to read two small articles arguing for
rigor.
Then we'll have group discussions (divided into your three streams) on
maintaining this balance between rigor and "chaos." |
Readings: Will be supplied a couple of days prior to the
presentation. |
