ABOUT THE NCRC
The National Campus and Community Radio Conference (NCRC) is an annual national gathering of community-oriented radio broadcasters who provide alternative radio to a diverse audience. The NCRC has been offered every summer since 1981, and it is one of the core activities of the National Campus and Community Radio Association (NCRA/ANREC).
Over the past quarter century the NCRC has migrated from east to west and north to south as it has been hosted by a different station every year, bringing together broadcasters and experts from across the country for several days of workshops, seminars, social events, and entertainment. This year, the 2008 NCRC will be hosted by CJAM 91.5 FM in Windsor.
This conference is one of the few opportunities most broadcasters in the sector have to meet face-to-face. It's a valuable opportunity for members of this sector to meet, make connections and learn from each other, so that each delegate may leave the conference with new skills, contacts, ideas and enthusiasm for campus and community radio.
