MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
UWindsor alumni care about their alma mater. That’s the
obvious conclusion when almost 5,000 of you responded to our
spring alumni email survey.
This past May, the Alumni Board received a consultant’s
report on the effectiveness of our communications and
programs. In addition to the email survey, the review included
on-site interviews with staff and volunteers, and focus group
discussions with alumni and students.
Reaching out and engaging with both students and alumni
is what you have told us should be the priorities for the Alumni Association. We could
not agree more. The development of lifelong relationships with our students before they
graduate, and when they begin their new status as alumni, is central to our mission.
Thanks to the thousands of alumni throughout Canada and beyond who participated.
