Become A Volunteer

Science Rendezvous is a day-long, family-friendly celebration of science and discovery, appealing to both science aficionados and casual observers alike. The Science Rendezvous Windsor events will take place at the University of Windsor campus and at various venues around the city. There are over 20 events being held at five different locations, each one highlighting a different facet of scientific knowledge and fun. Hands-on displays from students and professors at the University, as well as entries by local high-school students will appeal to a variety of interests.

We are looking for dedicated volunteers can meet the following criteria:

• Students (High School/Undergraduate/Graduate) who are interested in being involved with a major event connecting the University of Windsor to the public. Please note: You do not need to major in a science-related discipline to participate.
• Committed, punctual and reliable.
• Energetic and outgoing personality; friendly and approachable to the public.
• Willing to commit to a 4 hour shift on Saturday, May 8, 2010; and/or willing to pick up and post flyers/posters in the third week of April.
• Willing to attend a volunteer orientation meeting on Thursday, May 6th at 3pm.
