          Recognizing the significant pedagogical benefit experiential educationhas insupport of student
        
        
          learning, theProvost andVice-PresidentAcademicestablishedaTaskForce, representinga
        
        
          broad rangeof constituents, to reviewcurrent activities and identify strengths and
        
        
          opportunities togrowexperiential learning.
        
        
          This report outlines themethodologyusedby theTaskForce tosurvey, developa typography,
        
        
          and identify recommendations for increasing, developingmethods todocument, and
        
        
          identifyingbest practicesof aroundexperiential learningoncampus.

          TheProvost’s TaskForceonExperiential Educationhas identifiedseveral specific strategies that
        
        
          couldbeundertaken to improveexperiential educationoncampus, including strengthening
        
        
          alignmentwithacademicpriorities, further developingexperiential educationcurricula,
        
        
          boostingoff-campusplacements, andsupportingexperiential educationby tracking
        
        
          participationandbuilding capacity. Manyof the identified recommendations canbe
        
        
          implementedwithout theneed for additional resources; however, somedo require
        
        
          investmentsof both timeandmoney.
