FAST FACTS
• Currently the Engineering Faculty at the University of
Windsor has approximately 1100 undergraduate
students and 400 graduate students, while employing
over 100 professors and support staff.
• University of Windsor is the host university for the
AUTO21 Network Centre of Excellence (NCE), the
largest NCE in Canada.
• The Faculty of Engineering benefits from close industrial
partnerships and is part of the world class, multimillion
dollar facility — the Automotive Research and
Development Centre (ARDC).
• Mechanical Automotive & Materials Engineering hosts
the Centre for Automotive Research and Education
(CARE), which is an ongoing partnership between the
University and all levels of government and industry to
prepare students for automotive industry careers.
• Eleven percent of the University’s student body is from
nearly 100 countries.
