Why are the results of surveys and focus groups different?

• Even though questions were read to pupils, we suspect the questionnaire was testing reading, comprehension, and test taking skills … perhaps more than knowledge about HIV and AIDS.

• Focus Groups

• Pupils could explain what they know in their own words.
