Pre-PSABH: How Playing Sex Happens

• Having a boyfriend/girlfriend is common

• Upper primary pupils want a BF/GF

• Having a BF/GF = playing sex

• Sequence of events and expectations that lead to playing sex (ie sexual script)

• Multiple meanings & sources of force.

• Youth feel they have no choice or control over the situation

• Youth asking to learn specific strategies to deal with force and for altering the sexual script.
