Women's Health
Interest in women's health issues continues to flourish as both the medical and research communities recognize that health issues affect women and men differently. Originally the focus of women's health was on diseases/health concerns specific to women, or the different ways that women experience certain symptoms and illnesses.Today, the women's health field has broadened to include not only disease concerns specific to women, but also the behaviors and attitiudes that affect women's health and well-being. The psychological, emotional, social, cultural, and behavioral aspects of women's health are now considered as important as the physical dimensions.
On this page you will find a collection of links relevant to Women's Health and well-being, both physical and psychological.
