Overview

What is knowledge?  Is it possible to define it?  Is it possible to obtain knowledge?   Does knowledge have a structure? What is justified belief?  Does it have a structure?  What is the difference between knowledge and justification?  What are some of the different theories of knowledge and justification? These are just some of the questions examined during the semester.  Prerequisite: 34-110, or 34-112, or permission of the instructor.
