CRRAR Summer Institute on Argumentation

“Current Issues in Argumentation Theory”

The Centre for Research on Reasoning, Argumentation and Rhetoric (CRRAR) at the University of Windsor will be offering a Summer Institute on Argumentation (May 25 - June 3, 2009) and a graduate course, from May 25 - to June 6, 2009.

The Summer Institute will serve as an orientation to recent research in argumentation for post-doctoral students and interested faculty at universities and colleges.

 The graduate course is designed for students with an interest in argument analysis, the theory of argument and the theory of argument evaluation.  The course, “Current Issues in Argumentation Theory,” will include student attendance at the Argument Cultures conference (see below) and will be a full-credit graduate-level course and can be taken for either an Arts (Humanities) or Social Science credit.  We are pleased to announce the following instructors, who will share the teaching load equally:
