Tor Oiamo is an Associate Professor of Health Geography in the Department of Geography at Ryerson University. He has considerable experience in studying environmental and Sustainability issues including the analysis of health effects of cumulative exposures to traffic noise and air pollution. He also has experience in air pollution and traffic noise modeling, urban environmental health, and health care access and utilization. Dr. Oiamo is the Co-Principle Investigator of the SMARTPLANS project and will lead the development and implementation of air pollution health indicators in SMARTPLANS.

Zahra Yazdizadeh is a PhD Student in the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies at Ryerson University. Zahra holds two Masters degrees. She received her MASc. from Ryerson University in Civil Engineering in 2013 with specialization in structural engineering. She then completed her 2nd Masters degree in crisis, emergency and disaster management from York University in 2017. Her doctoral research will focus on validating the air pollution prediction of SMARTPLANS, as well as assessing the validity of predicted air pollution health impacts at different spatial scales.
