Leadership Education
Leadership Conclave
- There are three separate regional conclaves a
chapter can attend. Most often, conclave takes place within four
hours of a chapter.
- This gives brothers an opportunity to attend a weekend
seminar on running and operating their chapter.
- Conclaves are especially appealing for brothers who are
unable to attend the annual international leadership convention.
- They provide an opportunity to get to know and become
friends with undergraduate and alumni brothers from nearby
chapters and regional alumni.
- There is plenty of time for socializing, including a night
of organized events sponsored by the fraternity.
- Brothers can attend and are provided housing, and food… all
fees are included in the brother’s annual dues.
- Conclaves also provides information about “March of Dimes”
our international philanthropy.
Annual Leadership Convention
- Every summer Pi Lambda Phi holds its annual international
leadership convention, which every chapter sends delegates to.
- The highlight of the Convention is the optional black tie
brotherhood banquet, which features traditional songs, and the
awards presentations.
- The International Executive Council holds one of its 5 meetings at
convention, which undergraduate brothers are encouraged to
participate in.
- Much time is allowed for socializing with other brothers.
- Educational Sessions are held in large and small group settings.
- Leadership development team building activities will provide you
ideas to take back to your chapter
- Also, this is when the Pi Lambda Phi Educational Foundation presents
their annual scholarships to undergraduate brothers who have
excelled in a number of fields.
