About Pi Lambda Phi
Founded at Yale University in 1895, Pi Lambda Phi was the first non-sectarian fraternity in the United States, accepting men of good character without regard to race or religion. Today, over 35 Pi Lambda Phi chapters at colleges and universities in the United States and Canada cultivate communities that promote academics, leadership, social skills, and lifelong fraternal bonds. Pi Lambda Phi men build skills that will help them succeed in their post-graduate endeavors in an environment free from hazing and drug & alcohol abuse.
Our Chapter
Our chapter was founded and chartered at the University of Windsor in 1987. With over 20 years of proud tradition, we celebrate life's joys and support each other during less fortunate and hard times. Through volunteering and events we keep a tie between Alumni and current students, one we strive to keep strong. These events also gives us a chance to take a break off school and get to know more about each other, after all we're your brothers you know.
Our Ideals
- The elimination of racism and prejudices.
- Freedom and justice for all men of all creeds.
- Accepting men of good character, without regard to race or religion.
- Philanthropy, need I say more?
But remember this:
"Joining a Fraternity means nothing, but when you have really worked for it, sweated for it, cursed it, and loved it, as well as the men in it, you have something."
