Tina PuglieseOur 2015/16 season promises to deliver another outstanding season of theatre, offering a mixture of sultry, whimsical, madcap, provocative, poignant, and witty, creating a colourful splash of live entertainment for your enjoyment.

We are excited to open in September with the 2003 Pulitzer Prize winner Anna in the Topics, a sensual and poetic drama, and follow with Noël Coward’s smash-hit comedy Blithe Spirit. We invite you to escape the insanity of the holiday season with the madcap comedy for all ages, Scapino!. Join us again for the second half of our season as we begin the new year with the powerful drama, An Experiment with an Air Pump followed by Brian Friel’s bittersweet Dancing At Lughnasa and close with a lively restoration comedy of manners, The Double Dealer.

Directors Liza Balkan and Jim Warren return this season and we proudly welcome Marc Bondy (alum 2000) as he makes his University Players directorial debut. They will join Gordon McCall, Brian Taylor, and our talented team of professional designers and production staff to bring you another season of spectacular live theatre in both the Essex Hall and Hatch Studio theatres.

On behalf of the School of Dramatic Art and University Players, thank YOU once again for your support. With each season, we strive to bring you selections that will both entertain you and advance the training of our students. Your ongoing patronage helps us maintain our long tradition of ranking as one of the top three actor training programs in Canada.

I look forward to seeing you at the theatre!
