Residenceassistants (RAs)andresidenceassistantacademics (RA-A)
helpyou transition touniversity life,helpyou tobepartofacommunity,
andhelpyoumake friendsallat thesame time.Wealsohave full-time
residence lifeco-ordinators (RLCs)who livewithinresidence tosupport
theresidenceassistantsandstudents.
GET INVOLVED
Our focus in residence is lifeoutside theclassroom. Youcan
participate inclubs, becomea team leader for residenceevents,work
asdeskstaff orserveona residencecommittee.
LIVING-LEARNINGCOMMUNITIES
Livewithstudentswhoshareyouracademicprogramorareaof
interest. Thisallowsyou toconnectwithyourclassmates, join them
forstudying,workongroupassignmentsorattendsocial events.
Residenceassistantsandpeermentorsdesignspecializedprograms
that focusonpersonal andcareerdevelopment inyourareaof study
or interest.Ourcurrentofferings include:CreativeArts,Engineering,
HumanKineticsandNursing.
CHOICEOFROOMMATES
Apreferredroommatecanberequested.Bothstudentsmust identify
eachotheron theirresidenceapplication.
SPECIALCONSIDERATIONS
A limitednumberof roomsareavailable tostudentswhorequire
specialaccommodations.Wemakeeveryeffort toplacestudents in
facilities thatbestmeet theirrequirements.Pleasevisit

Accommodationsareguaranteed for first-yearstudentswhoapply
andsubmit a$475deposit by thedeadlinedate. After that date,
assignmentsarebasedonavailability.Completeanapplicationat

Theplanamount is$1,000and isusedexclusivelyat theCampus

suppliesandUWindsorclothing forboth theFall andWinter
semesters.
TheBookstorePlan ispart of yourUWinCARD IDcard, just like
yourMealPlan. Every time youmakeapurchaseat theCampus
Bookstore, thecost of that purchasewithbededucted from your
BookstorePlan.
