Congratulations to our President, Norm Shklov, on his election as ,Lieutenant Governor of Division 3 (Eastern Canada and het Caribbean) of the Kiwanis CIub. Nice going, Norm! ... I note that UNI-COM Senior Resource Centre is joining the U of W to host the EIderhostel program in Windsor July 10-16. Uni-Com has been headed by two of our members, Linda Long and (currently) Stewart Nease. Here's to a successful program! Any interested Association members may call the U at 253- 4232 (ext.3430)...A TIP: All retirees on the Min Guarantee (not on the Money Purchase) pension might check to see that they have received the increase which was referred to in The Newsletter, No.7, page 7, para 5 ... Thanks to Blake Gertz for a much appreciated recent letter. We're working on the questions you raised, Blake, and will publish answers in the next issue at the latest ... For readers interested in word processing, the current issue of The Newsletter is done on the word processing program WordPerfect 5.2 and printed on a Hewlett Packard Laserjet.4L printer.The principal font in this issue has been Gallery (TT) point sizes ranging from 8 to 18 (These Notes are in size 10). Various other fonts have been used. in previous issues ... The typical sequence in the production of The Newsletter is as follows: I type and print one master copv on my computer at home, then take that copy to Speedy Printer on Howard Avenue where they make 100 photocopies, collating and stapling them, for a total charge of 5 cts per page. Thus, for this issue of 5 pages, total cost of collating and preparing is $25 (+tax). Between issues I depend on. members to keep me informed. of their activities and their views.
