QUEUEING THEORY BOOKS

QUEUEING THEORY BOOKS

This site lists books with a major queueing component. Many of the books are out of print, but there are lots of excellent recent queueing books. If you know of a book, or have authored a book that you would like to see added to this list, please send an e-mail to the address below.

NOTE: The content of this web site was collected by M. Hlynka over many years.
I do not sell any of these books and I do not receive any compensation for anything appearing on this site.
If you have a mathematical background and would like to learn queueing theory at an introductory level, then I recommend a good introductory book in Operations Research, Management Science, or Industrial Engineering. Examples are Introduction to Operations Research by Hillier and Lieberman; Operations Research: Applications and Algorithms by Winston, or Operations Research by Taha. After that, move on to a specialized book in queueing theory.
