The Society of Actuaries Exam P and the Casualty Actuarial Society Exam 1 are 3 hour multiple choice exams with 30 questions.


• Allowable Calculators. Only certain Texas Instrument calculators are allowed.

• Pass level and Pass rate. In order to pass, a candidate must answer approximately 63% of questions correctly. Approximately 40% of those taking the exam pass the exam (i.e. score 6 out of 10 or higher).
