International Collegiate Business Strategy Competition

 International Collegiate Business Strategy Competition

The International Collegiate Business Strategy Competition is a Business Strategy simulation competition based on The Business Policy Game (by Richard V. Cotter and David J. Fritzsche) and hosted by the University of San Diego,San Diego, California.

Student teams are divided into industry groups and, starting in early February, submit weekly decisions from their home schools. In about early April, all teams meet in San Diego for three days for the finals which involve intense competition and presentations to panels of judges drawn from industry and academia. Final standings are based on a combination of performance in the simulation and in presentations and defense of strategy. Past teams have come from universities in the United States, Canada, Germany, Mexico, France and Australia.
