Manitoba International Marketing Competition
Manitoba International Marketing Competition

The Manitoba International Marketing Competition is a Marketing
simulation competition based on Markstrat III (by Jean-Claude Larreche and
Hubert Gatignon) and hosted by the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg,
Manitoba, Canada.
Student teams are divided into industry groups
and, starting in early October, submit weekly decisions from their home
schools. During about the third week of January, all teams meet in
Winnipeg for three days for the finals which involve presentations to
panels of judges drawn from industry and academia. Final standings are
based on a combination of performance in the simulation and in
presentations and defense of strategy.
