My name is Todd Griffith, and I am a student in the Faculty of Education at the University of Windsor. I am enrolled at the Junior/Intermediate level. I completed my undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Arts in Geography, at the University of Windsor.
The Junior/Intermediate level of education corresponds to grades four up to grade ten. I originally thought I would enjoy teaching Geography at the grade nine and ten levels. But after my first practice teaching experience my preferences have changed. My practice teaching experience was with a split class of grade fives and sixes. Seeing how these students interacted with each other and with their teacher made me realize that this was the level I wanted to teach.
I originate from a city in south western Ontario named Owen Sound. With a population of approximately 21,000 people, it is the largest city within Grey and Bruce counties. Owen Sound is located at the base of the Bruce Peninsula, on the shores of Georgian Bay. It is a very peaceful and scenic area.
I am also a proud Father. My son Justin Todd was
born on September 20, 1996. I cannot thank my fiancee enough for giving
me the best little guy in the world! Thanks Carrie
