Working in a group of 4 or 5, give a 5-minute (no longer) presentation on
a topic that you feel your fellow preservice teachers would find useful.
Your group membership and proposed topic must be recorded on the appropriate
presentation sign-up sheet for your division/section by December 5, 1997.
The group presentations will take place in class as indicated in the syllabus.
Some useful topics include, but are not limited to, the following: explaining
how a particular piece of computer hardware operates (e.g., modem, disk drive,
CD-ROM, etc.); a basic demonstration of a particular operating system (e.g.,
Windows 3.1, Windows 95, etc.); a basic demonstration of an Internet resource
or application not addressed in class (e.g., usenet newsgroups, etc.); or
a basic demonstration of a useful software program that you found used in
a school but not found at the Faculty.
