Sixteen of the papers presented at the first OSSA Conference, May 1995, have been published under the title of "Argumentation and Education"; it is a special issue of INFORMAL LOGIC (1995; vol. 17, no. 2) and is guest-edited by Hans V. Ha nsen and Christopher W. Tindale. Included are the three keynote addresses:
