- The situation & process by which the behaviour takes place (5W+H)
- Nature of forces that produce the behaviour (biological, social, cultural, peer, economic, gender, …)
- What messages are being received & from whom
- What key adults believe about proposed behaviour change messages & strategies
- Motivation of pupils & teachers to take on new roles
Quantitative (surveys) used to provide information about
- Ages & stages related to behaviour of interest
- Frequency
- Key influencing and risk factors
Intervention managers must be willing & able to re-direct intervention based on the above
