DOSE RESPONSE Does amount of exposure relate to amount of impact?

• Over and above the effect of the presence of the programme in schools:

  • In any one year, pupils who reported greater participation had significantly larger desirable changes than those with lower participation.
  • Some effects were only present for pupils with higher participation (esp boys)
  • Exposure for 2 years produced larger effects than for 1 year.
