• Target population:

  • Pupils in Standards 6 & 7
  • (11-16 years of age)

• 80 target, 80 control schools

• Surveys, FGDs and IDIs

  • Pre – wave 1 (2001/2002)
  • 6 months post full scale implementation – wave 2 (Feb 2003)
  • 15 months post – wave 3 (Oct-Nov 2003)

• Monitoring Instrument

  • Between waves 1 & 2; 2 & 3
